Ming-Wang aims to create statement worthy
knits and woven that can be dressed up or dressed down.
These designs I create can be played with by layering multiple pieces together or can be worn as a single piece with bold accessories.
The knit and woven patterns are one of a kind and each piece uses a different technique including intarsia, jacquards, tweeds and embroidery on knit.
Textile and CAD Devlopment
Ombre striped knit swatch

Ombre striped knit swatch pattern created on photoshop using four colors.
The original swatch's ombre effect transitions from lighter shades to darker shades. At a time, each stripe only has two colors.
The pattern is then used to create rough stitch placements on
different silhouettes before arriving at the most balanced stitch placement and silhouette combination.
